EVOTech PBL FAQ's
How do I use the PBL?
The PBL is a wireless charging powerbank. This means it will charge any QI enabled device wirelessly. Simply press the Power Button on the PBL and place your QI-enabled device on top of the PBL. Your device should begin charging within 5-7 seconds.
The PBL is not wirelessly charging my device. What do I do?
Please ensure your device is QI-enabled before attempting to wirelessly charge. For a full list of all QI-enabled devices. See the bottom of this page.
If your device is QI-enabled but still not charging please make sure your phones case is not constructed of metal that can block the current of the PBL from charging it. Please also be sure to remove all METAL from the back of your phone before attempting to charge wirelessly. Metal can heat up from wireless charging currents.

How many times will the PBL charge my phone?
This is dependent on your phone model. Each phone has a different sized internal battery.
The PBL has a built-in 6000mAh battery. This means it can charge an iPhone 8 between 2 - 3 full times before the PBL needs a recharge. A Samsung Galaxy S6 can be charged between 1 - 2 full time times before the PBL needs a recharge.

Will the PBL charge my phone without having to remove my phone case?
The PBL is tested to be able to wirelessly charge through most simple phone cases.
Of course, not all cases were tested but we have not had one fail us yet!
The only thing to keep in mind is that a phone case that has a magnet on the back of it may pose an issue with the wireless signal and make wireless charging difficult.
Will my phone stick to the PBL?
The PBL's surface is not sticky or magnetic. When testing the PBL, a main concern was wanting to take the PBL to go, but having to hold it against your phone. We solved this issue by developing a Nano-Suction Pad that is included with every PBL order.
The Nano-Suction Pad uses advanced microscopic technology in order to stick to your phone and the PBL without feeling sticky, picking up dirt, or leaving behind residue.
If you use the included Nano-Suction Pad, your phone will stick the PBL! We also offer a Secure Grip Strap in our store so you can grab the PBL to go on any active day without worry.
Can the PBL Charge two devices at once?
The PBL can charge two devices at once by making use of its Type-C USB Port.
When used in conjunction the PBL will charge a device wirelessly and wired. When charging via wire the PBL will charge at 18W which is considered highspeed charging. This is optimal for recharging any device as quickly as possible.
What do I do when the PBL runs out of battery?
When the PBL runs out of battery simply dock it on its docking station. The device will automatically recharge on it's own. If the charging pins are not lined up well enough to transmit a charge to the PBL, the PBL LED Indicator will blink green twice to let you know it is not charging.

How do I pair my EVOTech bluetooth device with my phone or tablet?
Most Bluetooth devices pair similarly:
- Place your Bluetooth device within 3 ft of your phone or tablet.
- Press and hold the Multi-function button for 10-15 seconds to begin the pairing process. The device will enter pairing mode and its LED lights will flash.
- Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone or tablet to search for the device. “EVOTech Labs" should appear on your device menu under Available Devices. Select to connect to it.
- You will hear a confirmation tone that the device is now paired. Once paired with your phone or tablet, you are now connected by Bluetooth. Now you can play music or make calls wireleslly!
My Bluetooth is not connecting what can I do?
If you have followed all instructions and referenced your product User Manual but are still encountering issues pairing your devices try powering your phone or tablet off and trying the process again. If this does not work, your EVOTech device may not be fully charged. If you continue to experience issues with pairing Bluetooth, please contact our customer support for step-by-step instruction and troubleshooting.
How long do I have to charge the ear buds to get a full charge?
Each device is different. The product User Manual will outline the optimal amount of time to spend recharging your device. We strongly recommend against overcharging the product and leaving it in the charger overnight. Overcharging the device can gradually weaken the battery’s power and result in a more frequent loss of power and product damage over a shorter period of time.
Within how much distance does a Bluetooth device stay connected?
EVOTech products have the capability of Bluetooth connection from about 33ft (10 meters) away. This means you can place your device safely at a distance and still listen to music and make phone calls. This feature is perfect for work or working out!

How do I use a portable battery pack ?
A portable battery pack is basically power on-the-go so you can charge any USB enabled device wirelessly. That means you can charge your cell phone, tablet or any other device without having to plug into a wall outlet. These portable battery packs need to be recharged themselves when they run out of power.
How do I recharge my powerbank device?
Please only recharge your device using the included charging cable. Plug this cable into a wall outlet or computer and the other end into our EVOTech device. Monitor charging so as to avoid overcharging any item. You can recharge the Nano via USB-C Cable or Micro USB cable.
Can I replace the battery inside of EVOTech product?
No, our products feature a built-in non-detachable battery, it can not be removed. The battery can be recharged but not replaced. Do not tamper with the device’s internal battery. For any other questions or issues with battery please refer to our Warranty page.
Can I order any parts separately?
Sure! Please email us at info@evotechlabs.com for more information on how to order additional ear-hooks, nano-suction pads or charging cables.
Do you offer a warranty on your products?
Yes! Given that a product is deemed defective through our inspection process, we will replace any device free of charge. Any item that is tampered with, damaged or shows signs of negligence will not be covered by our warranty. Free replacement device does not cover shipping expense and customer may be asked to cover shipping for new devices.
